You wake up on the beaches of Tortage Island. They call it the jewel of the Barachan Isles, but this is certainly a jewel with so many sharp edges that you can hurt yourself easily on it if you are not careful. It sure helps to know your surroundings better, and this guide was created so you know where to go – and what to stay far, far away from!

No Stygian tomb-robber would dare risk a venture into these chambers despite the riches that may be found there, but others are less aware of the dangers. Rumors of grave robbers from Shem are murmured in Kheshatta. No-one yet knows the horror they have disturbed down there but soon all will hear of Setsokhaten the death-knight.

The Scaleskins are blamed for disappearances in the city above but in fact they are content to dwell in the lightless chambers beneath and perform their cultish rites, but to what end is not known. During the past few months Funcom has hosted a series of events at our offices in Norway where we have invited journalists from across the world to meet the developers and sit down with the game. In January we took it a step further and invited numerous Age of Conan fan sites to experience the same thing, and HyborianCodex - a French community site - have put together a comic book based on their journey to Oslo!
